Emptiness Within....

I laugh heartily,
I make myself heard,
I smile often,
And talk aloud.
I eclipse myself in sands of pretention,
Hiding myself in an invisible cloud,
Layers of deception,
Loosing myself in the crowds.

My fears scare me,
And the loneliness inside me grows,
My wounds pain, and the scars tease,
And I wonder, how many more blows?



Somewhere inside me,
Like a conjoined twin,
All I can feel is
Emptiness Within….
